Shipping and Returns Policy for Fish Sales
All Livestock are shipped with Toll Priority or Star Track via a "Premium" air express service.
Orders can be shipped to your home, work or any other physical address you specify (orders CANNOT be shipped to PO Boxes).
Delivery usually takes 24 to 48 hours to arrive from when we ship it out.
Orders are ONLY shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, your order must be in by 5pm Sunday for your order to go the following week.
We do try to send orders the same week they come in where possible, it can depend on what day you order, what you order and if the team are able to fit in more shipments for the week.
Total packaging and delivery costs for a fish order is $25.00 - to anywhere in Australia, this is a flat rate so 1 fish or 50 fish the shipping stays the same.
If you purchase other items those items will be a separate delivery/shipping charge.
Delivery & Tracking
Our fish supplier is an expert when it comes to air freighting live fish. Fish are packed with the utmost care in insulated foam boxes with plenty of oxygen and will arrive to you healthy and happy.
We include specialised heat packs during the cooler months to ensure the fish have a consistent temperature and are comfortable.
Orders can be shipped to your home, work or any other physical address you specify (orders cannot be shipped to PO Boxes).
You will be emailed an order tracking number when your order has been shipped, so that you can track the progress of your order online and ensure you are ready to take delivery of it.
Dead on Arrival
Due to the complicated packaging and shipping procedures involved in handling live fish, as well as our commitment to the health and safety of all our specimens, we cannot accept any returns.
Please make your selection carefully
We offer a 100% live delivery guarantee on all our fish.
If something in your order arrives dead, please take a photo of it in the sealed shipping bag on arrival, along with a picture of the fish out of the bag if applicable.
If you believe an item is missing, unwell, incorrect, undersized or any other issues on delivery, please take pictures of what you have received in the bags (with ruler for sizing issues).
Then just go to our Claim Form and follow the instructions. Feel free to add any important detail that may be necessary.
We'll arrange for a refund for you, unless the claim qualifies for resending the fish.
- Claims MUST be accompanied with clear and accurate photos of each fish in the original sealed bag plus one picture of the fish out of the bag.
- Freight/Postage costs are Non-Refundable & are not able to be Claimed.
- Claims must be put through within 48 hours of the delivery.
Tracking numbers are usually not activated until midnight the day of shipment.
The online tracking service is NOT powered by Just For Pets and we are not responsible for the delay in the information provided by the online tracking service.
We recommend if you are unable to track the delivery online, you can call your local depot or the standard 13 number for the courier and ask for an update, we are unable to see or find any more information than yourself.
Our couriers are instructed to leave your order in a safe place if there is nobody available to sign for it.
Some of the dry good items can come from one of our warehouses which may use other couriers like Australia Post but no Livestock are shipped with these couriers.
